Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place to Host 2015 Spring Fishing Classic
The event is set to take place Feb 6-15.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Bass Pro Shops’ biggest fishing event of the year is coming to Patriot Place Feb. 6-15 with the store’s 2015 Spring Fishing Classic.
The free event offers sportsmen and women, children and families who are interested in fishing the opportunity to enjoy 10 days filled with the latest fishing gear,, tips, outdoor celebrities, giveaways and more. The Spring Fishing Classic provides opportunities for novice and experienced anglers to learn from the pros while children attend learn-to-fish workshops, participate in the casting challenge, win prizes and more.

Special Events
· Rod & Reel Trade-In: For the first time ever rod and reel trade-ins are accepted during the entire 10-day event. Save up to $100 on qualifying purchases. All trade-ins will be donated to local youth organizations to support their outdoor education programs. To date, Bass Pro Shops has donated more than 181,006 items. Rod & reel Trade-In is available from Feb. 6-15 during store hours.

· Instant Rebate: Use a Bass Pro Shops credit card to purchase new gear and receive up to $100 in instant rebate Feb. 6-15 during store hours.
· Bassmaster University: Features the greatest anglers in the sport giving their own tips and tricks to make you a better fishermen or women. Rob and Billy Delph will be discussing “Sport Fishing the Northeast” on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m., Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. The Delph family holds more than 300 IGFA world records.
· Local Pros & Seminars: Bass Pro Shops will also be hosting seminars taught by some of the best local pros and charter captains from New England. On Feb. 13 at 7 p.m., Electronic Essentials: Effective Use for Saltwater will be the featured seminar. On Feb. 14-15 at 11 a.m., the Baitfish Connection: Understanding Seasonal Movement Will Catch More Fish will be the featured seminar. On Feb. 14-15 at 2 p.m., Cutting-Edge Offshore Gear: A Guide to the Latest Advances in Tech and Tackle will be the featured seminar. On Feb. 14-15 at 4 p.m., Surf Fishing: Beach and Wading Strategies that Work will be the featured seminar.
· Fishing and Outdoor Cooking Tips for Women: Information session will be held on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m.
· The Next Great Angler: Register online now for a chance to become a contestant on “The Next Great Angler.” This new fishing show offers contestants the opportunity to vie for the title of next great angler. The winner also receives one year’s usage of a new Nitro, a Toyota Tundra, new top-of-the-line fishing gear and paid entry to the 2016 Bassmaster Opens.
· Free Line Spooling: Purchase a Bass Pro Shops branded reel $100 or more and receive free line spooling of XPS 8 30# braid. Purchase a Bass Pro Shops branded reel $99.99 or less and receive free line spooling of Excel clear monofilament during store hours. Offer available Feb. 11-15.
