Bill Belichick Gives Most Anti-Belichick Press Conference Ever
The Patriots head coach spoke with reporters for nearly a half-hour Friday morning.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — What happened to the Bill Belichick that looked like he hated to be at the podium and gave answers that were as short as possible? Instead, he seemed jovial to speak to what he called a "hardcore group."
The Patriots head coach continued his good mood streak this week, speaking to members of the media for nearly a half-hour during his press conference Friday morning.
Going well past the scheduled 15 minutes, Belichick gave lengthy answers on the similarities between Chuck Noll and Paul Brown, trying to beat the Steelers of the 70s, and other questions about Sunday's game. About 21 minutes into the presser, Belichick voluntarily took more questions, well after a media relations member called for two last questions at the 15-minute mark.

“I’ll take a couple more if you want. I know had a couple of long answers in there. That’s usually a problem with me. Just going on and on,” Belichick said with a smile.
Media members took the extra time to ask about Duron Harmon's leadership and scouting players like Elandor Roberts.

On the personal front, it's been a pretty good week for Belichick with the birth of his granddaughter, Blakley Rose Belichick and the announcement of his intent to quit using tablets on game day. On Wednesday, members of the media left gave Belichick a onesie for the newborn baby.
