David Villegas, 67, and his cousin, Armando Ruiz, 51, were arrested Friday and arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Two men from Downey, Calif. face charges after police arrested them in a Foxborough motel with 70 pounds of Percocet pills and $5,000 cash.
David Villegas, 67, and his cousin, Armando Ruiz, 51, were arrested Friday and arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday. Both are charged with trafficking more than 200 grams of Percocet, which comes with a mandatory sentence of 12 yeas in prison, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Police say the men were under surveillance once they learned that the two were staying at the Comfort Inn on Route 140. Police say the two made a drug-related wire transfer at the Mansfield Stop & Shop on Route 106 to Mexico. When they were arrested Friday during a traffic stop on Route 1A in Wrentham, they were allegedly found with 6,600 prescription painkillers. Percocet pills go for about $30 a pill on the drug market, placing the value of 6,600 pills at about $200,000.
