Charges Against Servers Caught in Liquor License Compliance Check Dismissed
Charges against nine bartenders and servers that failed a liquor license compliance check will have the charges dismissed.

Charges against nine restaurant employees caught serving alcohol to a minor during a liquor license compliance check will have the charges dismissed as long as they behave themselves.
Police Chief Edward O’Leary confirmed to the Sun Chronicle that the charge of providing alcohol to a minor were dropped on the condition that there are no further violations during the next 90 days.
Last fall, nine establishments failed a liquor license compliance check conducted by the Foxborough Police Department. The check consisted of an underaged operative entering the establishment, approaching the bar, and asking for an alcoholic beverage. If he was asked for identification or his age, he gave his real license and age.

During the hearing, the town chose to press charges against the servers that failed the check, in addition to liquor license suspensions for all the establishments caught in the sting.
