Child Falls 20 Feet Out of Window

A four-year-old girl fell 20 feet through a window in a Foxborough apartment around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, at 37 Putnam Road, fire officials said.

The girl was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital. Fire officials told The Boston Globe that the severity of her head injury is unspecified at this time.

Despite her fall, the girl remained conscious, according to NECN.

Foxborough Fire Department Captain Donald Treannie told The Boston Globe it is not clear how the girl fell from the window, and both of her parents were home when she fell.
