Cocasset River Park Building Connected to Sheehan Case to be Demolished
A building connected to the atrocious acts of Bill Sheehan is coming down

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A building connected to the atrocious acts of Bill Sheehan is coming down, Selectman Jim DeVellis announced Tuesday.
The building at Cocasset River Park, where Sheehan allegedly molested several children, has been approved for demolition by the conservation commission and the town's child sexual abuse awareness community, according to the Sun Chronicle. Demolition is scheduled for February and would be scheduled to allow victims to watch.
Sheehan, a former teacher, Boy Scout leader, and swimming instructor in Foxborough, has been accused of molesting children for over two decades before moving to Florida in 1981. The accusations became public in 2012, but Sheehan has not stood trial because he suffers from late-stage Alzheimer's and has been determined to be not well enough to stand trial.
