Coldplay Announce Gillette Stadium Show

FOXBOROUGH, MA - Officials from Gillette Stadium have revealed the third act that will take part in this summer’s concert series.

Thursday, it was Coldplay will perform as part of the “A Head Full Of Dreams Tour.” This is the band’s first world tour since the 2011-12 Mylo Xyloto Tour, which was seen by more than three million people on five continents.

The Live Nation produced tour kicks off on Saturday, July 16 at New York City’s MetLife Stadium and stops at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. on Saturday, July 30. Overall, there will be seven stadium shows in the US.

The show will represent a return to Gillette Stadium for lead singer Chris Martin. Last year, he made a surprise appearance during Ed Sheeran’s concert.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. through Citi’s Private Pass Program General tickets will be available beginning Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. at Live Nation.
