Concussion Puts Rob Gronkowski On Injury Report

The Patriots didn't practice Wednesday, but if they did, Gronkowski would have been out.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots didn't practice Wednesday, but if they did, tight end Rob Gronkowski wouldn't have been on the field.

Wednesday's projected injury report lists Gronkowski out with a concussion with no other information on his condition released. He left Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Jacksonville Jaguars late in the first half after suffering a helmet-to-helmet hit from Barry Church. He was first listed as questionable to return before being downgraded to out.

Gronkowski is in the NFL concussion protocol.
