David Hagan, Pianist

David Hagan, Sharon resident, pianist and former faculty member at the New England Conservatory of Music will be making his third Conversations at the Meetinghouse with a presentation entitled “Song and Dance”.

Mr. Hagan will discuss how music tends to be either lyrically or rhythmically based. By playing examples of Bach,Beethoven,Chopin, Gershwin,Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Schubert, he will show how each composer has made the piano, essentially a percussion instrument, sing or dance.

David’s two previous lecture recitals have been enthusiastically received. Plan to come.
