Conversations at the Meetinghouse "Applying the Tools of Ethics to Contemporary Social Issues", Jeffrey Johnson Ph.D.

Professor Johnson is Senior Lecturer at Suffolk University. His specialty is Ethics and Contemporary Social Issues.We are facing a plethora of serious social issues: climate change, racism, income inequality, terrorism – just to name a few. Professor Johnson will share how the field of ethics, from Aristotle to Martin Luther King, has critical tools which can help up face and work through these pressing social issues. The evening will include case studies where we can explore how these tools can be applied effectively.

Conversations at the Meetinghouse is a monthly program, heldon the first Friday of each month at 7PM, where members of the Sharon community share their expertise and experience about important issues of our day.
