Dr. Kinraide’s presentation will focus on the key moments in the history of science that shaped the way cultures understood and interacted with knowledge of the natural world.Dr. Rebecca Kinraide is a historian of science who currently teaches in the Writing Program at Boston University. She earned her undergraduate degree from BU in History and Physics and earned her PhD in History of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests are in popularization of science and the intersection of professional and popular science.
