Coronavirus Foxboro: Police, Fire Seek To Limit Public Visits
Foxborough police and fire officials are responding to emergencies, but want to limit public foot traffic in stations and lobbies.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Foxborough police and fire departments are taking steps to limit public traffic in the public safety building amid the new coronavirus outbreak.
The public safety building will be limited to employees and those reporting crimes. Police said this is in direct response to Gov. Baker declaring a state of emergency in Massachusetts to support the Commonwealth’s response to COVID-19.
Police said they will come to residents if need be, and if anyone still needs police, fire or emergency services, call 911. For general business, call the non-emergency lines.

"Please call rather than come to the station," Police Chief Michael Grace said in a statement. "If you have no alternative and come to the station there is a phone inside the first set of lobby doors that will ring into the desk officer, however the lobby area is closed."
Access to the McGinty Room is limited only to public safety personnel; all other use of the room is temporarily suspended.
