The likely site would be that land across the street from Gillette Stadium that was previously part of a controversial and failed proposal to bring a casino to Foxborough. Town Manager Bill Keegan said the area was ideal for Amazon and business use. Getting selected for the second headquarters could be a large benefit. Amazon is expected to employ up to 50,000 people and invest $5 billion in construction.
