Countdown to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's The River Tour at Gillette Stadium

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – In four weeks from today, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will conclude The River Tour’s 2016 run with a Sept. 14 show at Gillette Stadium. Tickets starting at just $25 for the highly-anticipated concert have been released and are on sale now at www.Ticketmaster.com or at the Gillette Stadium Ticket Office.
MBTA COMMUTER RAIL SERVICE
For concertgoers who want to avoid traffic, the MBTA Commuter Rail will be providing special train service to Gillette Stadium for the concert, which will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. Roundtrip tickets are $20. Fans are reminded that Gillette Stadium’s Clear Bag Policy (see below) will be in effect, both on the train and at the venue, and that all items prohibited at Gillette Stadium will not be permitted on the train. Additionally, there is no alcohol permitted onboard the train and no personal items may be left on the train during the concert. South Station Train schedule to Gillette Stadium for Wednesday, Sept. 14
- South Station: Departs for Gillette Stadium at 5:35 PM
- Back Bay: Departs for Gillette Stadium at 5:40 PM
- Dedham Corp: Departs for Gillette Stadium at 5:55 PM
- Arrive: Train arrives at Gillette Stadium at 6:40 PM
NOTE: Train will depart from Gillette Stadium 30 minutes after the conclusion of the concert.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
A reminder that Gillette Stadium’s Clear Bag Policy states that bags larger than a small wristlet or handheld wallet will not be allowed on the train or inside Gillette Stadium. If carrying a bag onto the train or inside the stadium is necessary, there are two options: A clear plastic bag the size of a 1 gallon Ziploc bag or a small wristlet or handheld wallet not exceeding 8” x 5” x 2” (approximately the size of a hand). Bags larger than the permitted size, including purses, shoulder bags, diaper bags and backpacks, will not be stored on the train or at Gillette Stadium. The River Tour 2016, which has drawn rave reviews and ranks as the year’s biggest tour in both Billboard and Pollstar, is a 75-show U.S. and European tour that is thrilling some of Springsteen and the band’s biggest audiences ever. With sets approaching the four-hour mark and including more than 30 songs a night, a Springsteen concert in 2016 is “a marathon which felt like a sprint,” according to the U.K.’s The Evening Standard.
Through the first six months, The River Tour 2016 is nearing 2 million ticket sales. The Sept. 14 show will be Springsteen and the band’s first performance in Foxborough since their Wrecking Ball World Tour stop in 2012.For more information, visit www.GilletteStadium.com.
