Cupcake Charlie's has Found Recipe for Success at Patriot Place

From Taylor Swift's crew to Patriots defensive player Rob Ninkovich, everyone seems to love Cupcake Charlie's award-winning treats at Patriot Place.

In just over three months since opening its Patriot Place location, business is booming at Cupcake Charlie’s as the award-winning bakery continues to enjoy the sweet success of its deliciously popular desserts.

“Business has been excellent,” said Cupcake Charlie’s Marketing Director Johanna Denapoli. “We could not be more thrilled with how our decision to open at Patriot Place has turned out!”

Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley agrees and could not be happier with the impact the popular bakery has had on Patriot Place since opening in May.

“Cupcake Charlie’s continues to be an exciting addition to the Patriot Place tenant lineup,” said Earley. “We are thrilled with the success of another family owned business with roots in the local community.”

That local connection has also brought roughly 20 jobs and a few famous customers to the Patriot Place business.

“The Patriots have connected with us to create a new cupcake, ‘The Twixovich,’ with defensive player Rob Ninkovich,” said Denapoli. “Be sure to try it on game days! We were also very honored to do a special order for Taylor Swift’s crew when she was in town for her concerts at Gillette Stadium in July.”

Denapoli says Cupcake Charlie’s special order business has also grown with the franchise’s expansion to Patriot Place.

“All of the new birthday, wedding and corporate orders keep us very busy,” said Denapoli. “So far, the location has been very rewarding and the Patriot Place staff has been over the top helpful.”

Of the 16 flavors made daily at the Patriot Place shop, Denapoli said its "Hostess with the Mostess," "Peanut Butter Pleasure," "Rockin’ Red Velvet" and "Funfetti" cupcakes are some of the bestsellers.

“It has been great to meet so many new customers who have all expressed how excited they are that we are in town,” said Denapoli. “It really makes us feel great!”

Cupcake Charlie’s is located at 262 Patriot Place and is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
