Dana-Farber Bringing Outpatient Center To Patriot Place

Provided services will include adult medical oncology and hematology services, such as exams, infusions, and support services.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will occupy the new medical office being constructed at Patriot Place.

The medical center and shopping center both announced Thursday that Dana-Farber has signed a lease for about 34,000 square feet of medical office space in the new building for an outpatient hospital satellite facility. Provided services will include adult medical oncology and hematology services such as exams, infusions, support services and select clinical trials.

“We are continually seeking ways to provide cancer patients with access to Dana-Farber’s world-class physicians and medical professionals closer to their homes. We are thrilled to be developing a site at Patriot Place in Foxborough to better support patients in the area,” Craig A. Bunnell, MD, MPH, MBA, Chief Medical Officer of Dana-Farber, said in a release.

“The addition of these medical services builds upon the world-renowned medical care provided at Patriot Place and furthers our commitment to providing local communities with access to world-class health care closer to home,” Brian Earley, Patriot Place general manager, added. “We are thrilled to welcome Dana-Farber and the best oncology services to Foxborough.”

The new hospital satellite center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2020. It will be the second medical center at the site, joining the Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center.
