Patriots Bring Offensive Line Coach Out of Retirement

Dante Scarnecchia comes back to the team after two years away.

Long-time coach Dante Scarnecchia has reached an agreement with the Patriots to head the team’s offensive line once more, ESPN reports.

Scarnecchia retired after the 2013 season, ending an NFL career that spanned 32 seasons. He spent 30 of those with the Patriots.

Scarnecchia will replace Dave DeGuglielmo, who the Patriots did not re-sign after his contract expired this year.
