Dozens Rally at Gillette Stadium to Protest Tom Brady Suspension

About 100 people demanded the NFL to free Tom Brady Sunday.

Nearly 100 fans took part in a peaceful rally at Gillette Stadium Sunday in protest of the suspension handed to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for his alleged role in Deflategate.

Wearing Patriots uniforms and holding signs for the man the Facebook event page for the protest called “half god, half man,” the fans said they were fighting back against the suspension and chanted for the firing of NFL commissioner Roget Goodell according to WHDH.

A recently married couple told the news station that they postponed their honeymoon to take part in the protest.

This month, Brady was suspended for four games after the Wells Report stated that the quarterback was likely aware that members of the team’s staff were deflating footballs under the legal size. The NFLPA has filed an appeal on his behalf. Brady has denied any knowledge of intentional football deflation.
