How Men Think( Or Do They?) Comedy Dinner Show

How can women know exactly how men think? Will women ever truly understand male thoughts? Is it possible for women to think from male point of view? The answer to all of these questions? Be careful what you wish for. That's the message many take from the all-male standup comedy show “How Men Think (Or Do They?): A hilarious peek inside the male mind." The show plays at the Renaissance Hotel Patriot Place Foxboro,MA on Friday June 29th.

"It's not just about men being from Mars and women from some other solar system where you can't wipe your hands on the 'good' towels in the bathroom," said Dave Rattigan, comedian and the show's co-creator."It's more about getting five funny guys together, with different life
experiences, to try to explain themselves." The show line up at the Renaissance Hotel Patriot Place  includes host  Dave Rattigan, Steve Bjork, Matt D, Mac Livingston and features special guest Mike Cote-- the headliner known  nationally for his Mitt Romney impersonation  in the
popular  GOP TV commercial. "All of these guys are excellent comedians who cull material from their own lives," said Rattigan, whose CD has received
heavy airplay on the comedy channel of XM-Sirius Satellite radio. "We all work at comedy clubs, but when we're together with this theme, and this expectation from the audience, it creates a very different vibe than what you
get in a comedy club. At certain points you'll see women laughing as their husbands nod their heads in recognition. After the show, I'll often have women
come up to me in the lobby and tell me about something one of us said that mirrors behavior they've observed in the past from a boyfriend, husband, father or some other lug head in their lives.

The show, which debuted in 2009, features a revolving lineup of male standup comedians who share
different (but very male) observations on the world around them. Over the course of  95 minutes, they share their
points of view on wives, mothers, friends, kids, careers, neighbors, growing older, love, lust, Internet dating and other things you won't believe they've wasted time thinking about.

"It's a really fun night," said co-creator Lisa Knight
from Drinkwater Productions, LLC whose company produces the show along with
Scamps Comedy Productions. "Women really appreciate hearing these things
coming from guys who have no ulterior motives and are just honestly trying to
make them laugh."

"At one show, we had a table of women laughing hysterically, while next to them was a table of men -- the husbands --also laughing, but with a little more sanity. In that case, social separation was the best recipe for a happy marriage."
