"In electing Paul Feeney, the people of the Bristol Norfolk District have chosen a thoughtful, caring public servant who will continue to stand up for working families, just as he has throughout his career. Paul’s commitment to Democratic ideals as the new State Senator from the region is essential at this time in our state’s and nation’s history when so many of our values are under assault," Massachusetts Democratic Party Chair Gus Bickford said in a release.

Feeney has been a member of the Foxborough Board of Selectmen, the legislative director of IBEW Local 2222, and a state director for the Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign.
