
Like many other towns in Massachusetts, Foxboro has seen an increase in unemployment in the past year.
Accord to the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Foxboro had an unemployment rate of 5.9 percent in November, 2013, an increase from 5.1 percent in November 2012.
The rate is higher than most of the towns adjacent to Foxboro. Sharon had the lowest unemployment rate at 5.1 percent while North Attleboro had the highest with 8.3 percent.

- North Attleboro - 8.3 %
- Plainville - 7.8%
- Wrentham - 6%
- Foxborough - 5.9%
- Mansfield - 5.8%
- Norfolk - 5.7%
- Walpole - 5.5%
- Sharon - 5.10%
