Foxborough Adds New Police Officer
William Monterroso comes to town with over 14 years of experience.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A new officer is now walking the beat in Foxborough.
William Monterroso was sworn in as the newest member of the Foxborough Police Department. He comes to Foxborough after working in Attleboro as a patrolman for over 14 years. In 2002, he graduated from the Plymouth Police Academy as part of the 41st MPOC.
“We are pleased to continue the tradition of excellent recruiting and hiring of police candidates. Being able to attract an officer with Officer Monterroso's professional experience and his commitment to family and community is another very good sign for the Town of Foxboro. Please help us welcome him,” Chief William Baker said in a statement.

During his 14 years with Attleboro Police Department he became a Field Training Officer, Certified Police Motorcycle Operator, certified mountain bike officer, Certified Child Seat technician, Certified S.W.A.T. operator along with numerous other certificates.
Monterroso is originally from Guatemala, is fluent in Spanish, and is married with two children.

William is a highly trained, veteran police officer who is bi-lingual and who has demonstrated the kind of professionalism and passion for police work that our residents and businesses have come to appreciate here in the Town of Foxborough," Town Manager Bill Keegan said.
