Foxboro has been my home, for my family and business, for decades. It's time to give back.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Fiscal Responsibility. My plan would be to study the budget as it is, with respect to all income sources and expenditures. As a retired business owner it was priority one to make sure that money was handled with fairness, precision and focus, all in an effort to run the business of Kerzner Associates, P.C. successfully. I'll continue that effort in the position of Selectman.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Career as both Business Owner and Psychological Services Provider. I can't speak to the other candidates capabilities, but I can say that my background brings a fairly unique eye to the table.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
Priorities are Fiscal Responsibility, Community Safety, Education and Human Services.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
34 years at Kerzner Associates PC, in Foxboro... I started as a solo practitioner and developed the practice/business slowly and steadily, to where it stands today with new ownership at 30 Mechanic St.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
by my father....a WWII Bronze Star Army Sergeant who fought in the Battle of the Bulge....he said quite simply, that the key to success is to " Never, Ever Quit " on what matters most to you.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
As a retired Psychologist, I've had to reinvent myself. I now spend a couple of days per week as a 3rd grade teacher's assistant in four different classrooms. I am also a volunteer mentor for Inmates at the Norfolk County Correctional Center. Becoming a Selectman would be a welcome addition to the remaking of the old Dr. Kerzner into a newer and more diverse version of my former self !
