Foxborough Declares 24-Hour Non-Essential Water Ban

The drought of 2016 continues to take a toll on the town's water supply.

From the Town of Foxborough:

In consideration of the current drought conditions in the region, the Town of Foxborough Water Department has requested and received a Declaration of Water Supply Emergency from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

As a condition of this approval, we are required to immediately implement a 24-hour ban on non-essential outdoor water use. Private well owners need to comply with this ban to limit impacts on the availability of water.
