Foxborough Fire Responds to Freight Train Fire
Fire crews were on Elm Street early Friday morning for a report of a rail car fire.

A fire on a freight train had Foxborough firefighters working on Elm Street early Friday morning.
At 4:50 a.m., Foxborough Fire reported the rail car fire, which was extinguished a little after 6 a.m.
Foxborough Fire Captain Donald Treannie told the Sun Chronicle that the open-top car was carrying non-hazardous construction debris. No other cars on the trains were damaged.
