Foxborough High School to Implement iSchool Advocate Program
The program was introduced to the Foxborough School Committee at their Oct. 20 meeting.

The following was submitted by Foxborough Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Amy Berdos as part of the school committee’s Teaching and Learning Highlights:
At the October 20th School Committee meeting, Foxborough School Superintendent, Ms. Debbie Spinelli introduced the iSchool Advocate Program as the Teaching and Learning Highlight. The iSchool Advocate Program is a way to move technology forward in Foxborough High School by enlisting and empowering student technology leaders.
The founder of the iSchool Initiative Program, Travis Allen, passionately believes that students have the power to change the world at any age through the use of technology. Mr. Allen will work with 20 students over a period of three days at Foxborough High School where they will become the student leaders in this new technology initiative. The iSchool Advocate Program works to develop student leaders in their school community to empower them in the areas of technology, leadership, teamwork and public speaking. Students were recently addressed by School Superintendent, Debra Spinelli and were invited to apply to be an iSchool Advocate. This address and video invitation was conducted in concert with the iSchool Initiative Program video that can be viewed on the FHS web page.
