Foxborough HS Football Featured on Thursday Night Football Pregame
Some Foxborough Warriors had a chance to run some plays with Bill Cowher and Deion Sanders for the Thursday Night Football pregame show.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — They may have been a football team from Foxborough running pro plays, but they weren't wearing Patriots jerseys.
Prior to the Thursday Night Football game between the Patriots and Texans, the country had a chance to meet Coach Jack Martinelli and the Foxborough Warriors during an on-field demo with Bill Cowher and Deion Sanders that aired on the NFL Network's pregame show.
Prior to the game, 12 members of the FHS football team, along with three coaches filmed the plays as part of the pregame show. While the team ran the plays, Coach Cowher and Sanders were there, giving their input and analysis.

“It was a great experience for them, a chance of a lifetime. I won’t lie, I thought it was a great treat for the coaches as well,” Martinelli said."I wish I could have brought them all."
Luckily, the Warriors were made for prime time, as in the TV time slot and the football player. After some jokes with Sanders and a run through, the team only needed one shot to film the segment.

The players were equally as excited about the opportunity as their coach.
“It was great. I got to line up with Deion, he basically covered me,” Jamaine Few said.
Mark Clagg said Sanders coached him up and was really cool to the team.
“It was surreal to meet Coach Cowher and Deion Sanders, both are legends,” he said.
Just when the kids thought their time on the field was done and were heading back to the parking lot, a familiar voice said hi and asked for a photo. That person happened to be Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who stopped the team for a quick chat following a television interview. Kraft complemented the players on their bleach blond hair, a Foxborough football tradition, and wished them the best of luck for the rest of the season.
The team was able to stay at the stadium for the game with tickets compliments of Kraft.
