Foxborough Man Charged with Assaulting Police Officers, Disorderly Conduct
Information in this article is from Wrentham District Court. Arrests and charges mentioned do not imply conviction.

Four officers were needed to restrain a man who allegedly assaulted an officer and was tased during an incident, police said.
Mark Dipillo, 48, of Foxborough was arrested Saturday and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and operating with a revoked license (subsequent offense). He was arraigned in Wrentham District Court, where he pleaded not guilty and is free on the promise that he’ll return for his next court date.
According to the police report, Officer David Foscaldo was at the Foxborough Public Works’ parking lot around 3:27 p.m. Saturday afternoon when he saw a vehicle on Elm Street with a driver that appeared to be Dipillo. In his report, Foscaldo wrote that he told his partner that he knew it was him and that he knew his license was revoked.

Shortly later, the two officers went to Dipilo’s apartment where police found him on the patio. Foscaldo told Dipillo that he saw him driving, but Dipillo told the officer that he was dead wrong and it was a mistake, telling the officers that he returned from shopping and it was a woman that was with him who drive.
When Foscaldo went to make the arrest, Dipillo pushed the officer away, becoming increasingly belligerent and uncooperative, according to the report. Dipillo then went into his apartment, in an attempt to evade arrest. Four officers attempted to calm him down, at one point using a taser and pepper spray.

A close range deployment of a taser and three sets of handcuffs were needed to take Dipillo into custody.
