WRENTHAM, MA — A firefighter from Foxborough is getting a well-earned promotion in the Wrentham Fire Department, Fire Chief Antonio Marino announced Friday. Robert Maduskie has been appointed deputy fire chief.

Maduskuie, who joined the department as an auxiliary firefighter in 1982, has served in a variety of roles over the past 36 years. He became the first full-time medic of the department in 1998, was instrumental in starting the department's Advanced Life Support (ALS) service and currently serves as its emergency service coordinator.

"Having worked beside Robert for several years, I am proud that one of my first acts as chief is promoting him to the much deserved rank of deputy chief," Chief Marino said. "I am confident that Robert will continue to be an asset to our department and thrive in his new role."
