Foxborough Police Charge Woman who Crashed into Pole on Green Street

A North Attleboro woman faces multiple charges after crashing into a pole Saturday morning.

Betsy Golding, 62, was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and drunken driving (second offense), according to the Foxborough police log.

At 12:26 p.m., police responded to a report of a car crash and downed wires in the area of 97 Green Street. During the response, traffic was restricted to one lane the to the live wires.

Local residents did lose power for an extended period of time, with National Grid arriving to repair the wires about a half hour after the initial call to police.
