Foxborough Police Participate in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The Foxborough Police Department has been called out as part of the ongoing effort to raise awareness for ALS.

Friday morning, Foxborough Police posted on their Facebook page a video of members of the department taking the challenge with a little help from the fire department. Before completing the challenge, the Canton Police Department, the MBTA Transit Police Department and Foxborough Fire and Rescue were called out as part of the challenge.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has brought in an unprecedented amount of donations for the ALS Association. Since July 29, over $53 million in donations has been made to the ALS Association, a large increase from the $2.2 million raised during the same period last year.
