Foxborough Resident Gets Second Chance at Survivor
Jeremy Collins starts his second stint on the popular CBS show Wednesday night.

After an early exit last year, a Foxborough man has one more chance at winning the $1 million grand prize on “Survivor.”
Wednesday night, Elm Street resident Jeremy Collins returns to the reality TV show as part of the new season of “Survivor.” This time, the show is using a second chance theme, bringing back former contestants that came up a bit short in previous seasons.
Joining Collins will be two familar faces from last year’s season of the show. Keith Nale and Kelley Wentworth, who also competed in the San Juan del Sur season, will also compete. Nale should be an interesting addition to the season, given the history between him and Collins. Last time the two were together, Collins attempted to forge an alliance but the fellow firefighter would betray Collins, ending any trust between the two.

During his previous appearance on Survivor, Collins competed under the blood vs. water format, which pitted him against his wife, Foxborough police officer Val, who was in the other tribe. This time, Collins enters the game alone, looking to avenge a week 10 elimination.
This year, the show was filmed in Cambodia from May 31 to July 8. All episodes are pretaped and no details are released prior to the an episode airing.
