Foxborough Youth Appears in Professional, Theatrical Production

Abby Spare of Foxborough is appearing in the professional, theatrical production The Phantom Tollbooth at the Wheelock Family Theatre.

Spare, a talented performer, also appeared as Tessie in the national tour of ANNIE, directed by Martin Charnin. Her NYC theatre credits include Anna the Storyteller, an AEA staged reading (Cossetta) and Erasing the Brain (Ellen). She has been seen regionally in Eurydice (Loud Stone), A Christmas Carol (Fan and Martha), Charlotte’s Web, and A Civil War Christmas.

Also a tap, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, and ballet dancer, Spare was recognized as the 2011 National Champion (Tap) at the Spirit of Dance Awards.

The Wheelock Family Theatre is a professional, Equity theatre located on the campus of Wheelock College. Producing for more than 30 years, WFT's mission is founded in Education and Accessibility and strives to improve the lives of children and families through the shared experience of live performance.
