Foxborough's Ashley Sampson Named Boston Herald All-Scholastic

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The awards keep rolling in for Foxborough High School senior basketball star Ashley Sampson.

The member of the Warriors girls' basketball team was named to the Boston Herald All-Scholastic team Monday. The award is the latest for the Hockomock League MVP who helped lead Foxborough to their first state title since 1995.

Sampson average 18.8 points per game during the 2017-18 campaign, along with 5.3 rebounds. She helped Foxborough come back from a 20-point deficit in the state semi-final round against Pentucket and a 10-point deficit against Hopkinton in the state final.

Sampson will attend and play for Adelphi University in the fall.
