Foxborough's Paul Feeney Announces State Senate Campaign
The Foxborough resident and former state director for the Bernie Sanders for President campaign is hoping to become a state senator.

FOXBOROUGH, MA – A former selectman and state coordinator for Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign is now running for state senate.
Paul Feeney announced late Wednesday night that he will run for the seat being vacated by Jim Timilty. Feeney enters the race with a political resume that includes time as Timilty's first chief of staff and a term on the Foxborough Board of Selectmen. He also served as the Massachusetts State Director for the Sanders Campaign. He currently works as a technician for Verizon and an official for IBEW Local 2222
“As a private-sector worker with experience in state and local Government, I understand how important it is to have a voice for working families in the Bristol & Norfolk district. I will work hard to defend the values of the middle-class. If given the opportunity to serve in the Senate, I will be fiercely loyal to the people of this district and will always do what is in their best interest - even if it's not politically expedient." Feeney said in a release.
