Gillette Stadium To Host 2017 4th of July Fireworks, Finish At The 50 5K/10K
The annual road races and 4th of July fireworks at Gillette Stadium are set for July 3.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Gillette Stadium is once again preparing to host a 4th of July festival dedicated to fitness and appropriately enough, patriotism.
The home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution will host the eight annual Finish at the 50 Road Race on July 3 and post-race fireworks at Patriot Place.
As in past years, there will be a 5K that will take place on stadium grounds and a 10K that goes around Foxborough and Patriot Place. Both races will end inside the stadium at midfield. A kids fun run for children 2-12 will be held prior to the road races.

Runners in the 5K and 10K will have the chance to enter the field under the Patriots inflatable helmet and see themselves finish on the stadium's video board as an announcer calls the names of the finishers.
“This is a must-run race for anyone who has ever dreamed of running out of the tunnel at Gillette Stadium and onto the home turf of the five-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots,” Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley said in a release. “We are thrilled to partner with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and One Mission to continue the tradition of kicking off the 4th of July in true patriotic fashion while celebrating health, wellness and community.”
