McBarron, a Barnstable resident, was involved in an early morning crash on Thanksgiving. At approximately 2 a.m. Thursday morning, police received reports of a wrong-way driver traveling north on Interstate 495 South between exits 13 and 14 near the Foxborough-Plainville line.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, James Keating of Norton, died from injuries obtained in the crash while McBarron, the other driver involved in the crash, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

"Thankfully she's still here with us because it could have very easily gone much worse, but she is looking at a long recovery, McMahon wrote on the fundraising site. "Everyone who knows Tayler can tell you she is always one to help out others, whether it's a ride or just someone to talk to, she's one of the best friends you can ask for. She didn't deserve this."
