GPS System Leads Police to Car Theft Suspects
Two men were arrested after an allegedly stolen vehicle was found using the car's GPS system.

For Foxborough Police, a case of a missing vehicle was simply a matter of finding it’s GPS signal.
Erikson Candido and Givanny J. Duarte, both of Pawtucket, were arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle early Friday morning according to the Sun Chronicle.
At 3:52 a.m., the owner of the stolen vehicle, a Toyota RAV-4, notified police that his car was gone from its location on Walnut Street. Luckily, the vehicle had an OnStar GPS navigation system, making the car’s location easy to find.

Police were able to use the GPS to locate the vehicle in Pawtucket, where the men were arrested at 5 a.m.
The two are also connected to a Ford Focus stolen in Sharon and left behind on Walnut Street in Foxborough.
