Gronkowski Home Break-In Suspect Held On $1,000 Cash Bail
Eric Tyrrell, 28, of Foxborough, pleaded not guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property worth more than $250.

FOXBOROUGH, MA – The second of three suspects connected to the Rob Gronkowski home break-in appeared in Wrentham District Court Wednesday.
Eric Tyrrell, 28, of Foxborough, pleaded not guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property worth more than $250. He was ordered held on $1,000 cash bail during his arraignment and was ordered to stay away from Gronkowski and his home.
Police allege that Tyrrell received two coins taken from Gronkowski's home by Shayne Denn of Tewksbury in early February and sold them to a dealer in Weymouth. The coins, an 1879 US Morgan Dollar and an 1896 US Dollar, were sold for a combined $3,550 on Feb. 23 and 27.

After receiving an alert to be on the lookout for the coins, the dealer who made the purchase told police on March 5 that he was told by Tyrrell that the coins belonged to his father and Tyrrell said he had more items to sell.

Surveillance video from the dealer’s shop showed Tyrrell arriving in a van and exiting from the passenger side. The driver was later identified as Anthony Almeida of Randolph, who also allegedly admitted to being the driver for Denn.
Almeida was arrested Friday and Tyrrell turned himself in Tuesday afternoon. Denn remains at large. A warrant for his arrest was issued earlier this week.
Nancy Maloof Winn, Tyrrell's attorney, requested personal recognizance and questioned whether or not her client realized the coins were stolen. After the arraignment, she told reporters that she was going to request a bail review.
