Aaron Hernandez Double-Murder Witness Says Shooter Looked Like Ex-Patriots Star
The former New England Patriots tight end was back in court Tuesday

A man who survived a 2012 double murder in the South End told a Suffolk superior courtroom Tuesday that a person who looked similar to Aaron Hernandez shot bullets at the car he was in.
With the former New England Patriots tight end sitting a few feet away, Raychides Sanches described a scene of panic, screaming, and crying. He said the vehicle he was in was shot at and resulted in the deaths of Daniel de Abreu, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28.
Sanches was in court to testify as part of a review of pre-trial motions, according to the Boston Globe. Hernandez’s attorneys are hoping to block Sanches from the trial. They argue that the witness to the alleged murder changed his story from his initial recollection in 2012.

Authorities say Hernandez became angry when he was jostled by one of the victims while inside the Cure nightclub. He allegedly left the club and circled the Theatre District until he saw the men leave.
Sanches said he is not a football fan so he can’t say for sure if saw Hernandez at Cure.
