Horse Racing Approved for Plainridge Park
The Mass. Gaming Commission approved the slot casino's license application during their meeting Thursday.

Horse racing is coming back to Plainville.
Thursday afternoon, the Mass. Gaming Commission approved e slot casino’s license application for racing. The license allows Plainridge to hold races 115 days a year and comes with a safety check condition.
Prior to reopening as a slot casino this year, Plainridge Park promoted harness racing since opening in 1999.
