Jabrill Peppers Removed From Exempt List, Back To Practice

Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was taken off the Commissioner's Exempt List this week after a trial date was set for him last week.

Peppers, who is charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a substance believed to be cocaine and strangulation, had a court appearance last week that set a trial date for January.

With the NFL's move he now becomes eligible to participate in all team activities.

According to ESPN, Peppers' attorney told the judge that Peppers had declined a $10.5 million demand from the victim which could be connected to a lawsuit filed against him. Attorneys for the victim said that was untrue.

It's unclear if Peppers will be active on Sunday for the Colts matchup.
