Indian-Style Sandwich Shop Coming To Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A new sandwich company is coming to Route 1 in Foxborough.

Tuesday night, the selectmen approved the common victualler license for Pronti Sandwich Company, to be located at 29 Washington St.

Matt O’Brien, one of the four partners in the venture, said the restaurant has an Indian-based menu and has a Chipotle-like feel and will serve sandwiches, soup, rice bowls, and curry.

The location is the former Subway near Gillette Stadium and O’Brien said the shop is the first of six to open in the next two years in New England.

Pronti Sandwich Company is scheduled to open next week.
