Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney Coming to Gillette Stadium in 2015

The two will perform on Aug. 28 2015.

One of country music’s biggest names is coming back to Gillette Stadium and this time he’s bringing a friend.

Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney announced Monday morning their tours will collide for 10 stadium shows next summer, including an Aug. 28, 2015 date at Gillette Stadium.

A summer staple of the Gillette Stadium concert series, Chesney has played more shows at Gillette Stadium than any other artist. During his 2012 appearance, he named his New England fan base, “No Shoes Nation,” and named his 2013 tour after them.

To commemorate the origin of “No Shoes Nation,” the Kraft family, prior to Chesney’s 2013 shows in Foxborough, surprised the country music star with a blue and white Super Bowl-like banner that reads, “Gillette Stadium, Birth Place of No Shoes Nation, Established Aug. 25, 2012.” The banner hung near the north end zone for both nights of his 2013 stop at Gillette Stadium and continues to hang during major stadium events, including Patriots games.

This will be Chesney’s first show at the stadium since 2013. For Aldean, this will be his Gillette Stadium debut.
