Joe Andruzzi Foundation Hosts its Eighth Annual Gratitude Gala

The gala will raise funds in support of its mission to assist cancer patients and their families with everyday expenses.

On Monday, November 16th, three-time Super Bowl Champion and cancer survivor Joe Andruzzi, along with his wife, Jen, Executive Director of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF), will host the annual Gratitude Gala for the eighth consecutive year. Presented by East Commerce Solutions, Inc., the gala will raise funds in support of its mission to assist cancer patients and their families with everyday expenses, such as rent, mortgage payments, utility bills and more. As reflected in its name, the gala is also an evening of gratitude, where the Foundation is able to honor and recognize those who have supported JAF over the years.

Hosted at Gillette Stadium’s Putnam Club, this year’s keynote speaker will be New England Patriots co-captain and offensive lineman Nate Solder, who, like many of the evening’s attendees, is also a cancer survivor. After being diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2014, Solder is turning his own personal battle with cancer into a mission to spread awareness, and has been a long-time supporter of JAF.

Emceed by 98.5 The Sports Hub Midday Host and Patriots Color Analyst Scott Zolak, the event will also include a meet and greet with celebrities and athletes, as well as silent and live auctions with professional auctioneer Paul Zekos. Additionally, the event will recognize Ed and Lisa Medeiros of East Commerce Solutions, Inc. for this year’s (Up)Beat Award – honoring the couples longstanding support of the Foundation and their commitment to go above and beyond for JAF patient families.
