Kenny Chesney Adds Second Foxborough Show

Chesney to sell one millionth ticket at Gillette Stadium with announcement of 19th show.

FOXBOROUGH, MA - From Gillette Stadium: Because one show is never enough for No Shoes Nation, Kenny Chesney is meeting the overwhelming demand of his New England fan base by adding a second show in Foxborough on his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour for Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018.

The country music superstar, who will perform at Gillette Stadium for the 18th and 19th time next summer, will reach a significant milestone when he sells his one millionth ticket at the home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution.

“The fans that have come out to the Gillette Stadium shows, since we started doing stadium shows back in 2005, have always rocked our world,” said Chesney. “And it’s grown, and built, and gotten louder and louder. The energy and the passion? There’s nothing like it. We named ‘No Shoes Nation’ at Gillette, made so many memories and even this year, on my year off, we couldn’t keep away … but you never think about something like a million tickets.”

The one millionth ticket is expected to be sold when tickets for the Aug. 25, 2018 show, featuring special guests Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne and Brandon Lay, go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at www.kennychesney.com/events.

“We’re not sure who’s going to buy the one millionth ticket, but I do know we are going to do something really special for them to thank them for being the one millionth fan to attend a show at Gillette Stadium,” Chesney said. “Some of my best nights have been onstage at Gillette, and that’s because of all the people who come out every single year.”

Chesney’s 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour, which will stop at 18 stadiums around the country, will bring the energy from his newer albums, “The Big Revival” and “Cosmic Hallelujah,” and mix in everyone’s favorites to deliver the type of summer concert that has given Chesney the reputation of “The king of the road” by the Wall Street Journal and “The people’s superstar” by the Los Angeles Times.

Both shows are produced by Kraft Entertainment.
