Kenny Chesney Returning to Gillette Stadium in 2017
No Shoes Nation is back in Foxborough next August.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Gillette Stadium has announced which country act will perform in the traditional late August slot and chances are you know who it is already.
Kraft Entertainment announced that Kenny Chesney will return to Gillette Stadium on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017. The American Express presale for the end-of-summer show begins on Friday, Nov. 25, with public on-sale starting on Friday, Dec. 2.
“What I heard and felt on stage at Gillette Stadium this past August was unlike anything that I think I ever heard before,” Chesney said in a statement. “It was so loud and so beautiful and it was a spiritual moment for me, and my band and my road family. Those two nights in New England were everything we knew it was going to be and we thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts that were a part of those two shows.”

Joining Chesney in No Shoes Nation will be Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion. Rhett, a Nashville native, is best known for mixing the sound of his influences with equal doses of groove, melody and twang. The singer and song writer’s two albums, 2013’s “It Goes Like This” and 2015’s “Tangled Up,” have produced 10 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts with six reaching No. 1, including “It Goes Like This,” “Get Me Some of That,” “Die a Happy Man” and “T-Shirt.” He has also written singles for Jason Aldean, Lee Brice and Florida Georgia Line, a release said.
2017 will be Old Dominion's third straight summer with Chesney.
