Kraft Donates $100,000 To Families Of 7 Bikers Killed In NH Crash
The NH crash killed seven U.S. Marines, who were all part of the JarHeads Motorcycle Club. Robert Kraft donated $100,000 to their families.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft donated $100,000 to the families of the seven motorcyclists, who were killed in a crash with a vehicle transport trailer last month in Randolph, New Hampshire. The crash killed seven U.S. Marines, who were all part of the JarHeads Semper Fi Motorcycle Club. Members of the club created a GoFundMe page for the marines' family members, and Kraft's donation brought the JarHeads within striking distance of their $700,000 fundraising goal.
Kraft made the donation at Gillette Stadium Saturday to a crowd of thousands of bikers, riding in from across the country, to show their support for Michael Ferazzi, Desma Oakes, Albert Mazza, Aaron Perry, Joanne and Edward Corr, Daniel Pereira, who were all killed in the June 21 crash, as well as their friends and family.
"I know you have a GoFundMe page and it said you’re looking to raise 700 (thousand dollars) and you’re somewhere near $560,000, so our family, we’re going to commit $100,000 to that," Kraft told the crowd as they erupted in cheers. "And if you don’t get to the 700 today, we’re making it up whatever it is. "We're all patriots, and you are the true patriots. Thank you very much."
