Man Accused of Killing Foxborough Resident Gets Bail Increase
Michael J. Hinds is charged with killing a Foxborough man during a road rage incident in Mansfield.

MANSFIELD, MA - A Norton man charged with vehicular manslaughter saw his bail go up Thursday afternoon.
Michael J. Hinds, 67, pleaded not guilty to several charges including manslaughter while driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol during an arraignment at Fall River Superior Court, according to the Sun Chronicle. Bail was increased from $75,000 to $85,000.
Hinds is accused of killing Foxborough resident Jarrad Aronne during a road rage incident on Route 495 South in Mansfield. On Nov. 10, Hinds allegedly made intentional contact with Aronne’s vehicle. After the collision, both vehicles used the exit 12 ramp to Route 140 and a second collision occurred, causing Aronne’s vehicle to rollover on the ramp.

After the crash, Hinds registered a blood-alcohol content level of 0.19 percent on a breathalyzer test. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.
If Hinds makes bail, he must wear a GPS device, stop drinking, submit to random alcohol testing, comply with a curfew, and check-in with the probation department once a week.

Hinds is scheduled to return to court on April 28 for a pre-trial hearing.
