Authorities say Donald Wicklund used stolen info to buy a motorcycle in Foxborough that ended up in the hands of a regional drug dealer.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Pawtucket man used a fake ID to purchase a motorcycle in Foxborough that ended up in the possession of the alleged leader of an organization that distributed fentanyl and cocaine in parts of New England, authorities said.
Donald Wicklund, 32, of Pawtucket, R.I., was arraigned Monday in U.S. District Court in Providence and charged with five counts of aggravated identity theft, five counts of fraudulent use of a social security number, three counts of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and two counts of wire fraud. He was ordered held by U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Patricia A. Sullivan .
According to court documents and information provided to the court, it is alleged that between March 31 and May 24, 2017, Wicklund used stolen personal identifying information of others, including social security numbers belonging to at least two minor children, and fraudulent documents and addresses, to secure funding for the purchase or lease of new vehicles in Johnston, Warwick and Lincoln, Rhode Island, and in Foxborough.

For the purchase in Foxborough, Wicklund allegedly bought a 2017 Polaris Slingshot from MOM South on Route 1 with a finance application containing false statements and agreed in writing to make payments for the Slingshot when it was never his intent to do so. He also falsely claimed that he was employed by Packard Builders for 10 years with monthly income of $8,000, according to court documents.
It is believed that at least three of the four vehicles obtained by Wicklund were obtained by Ramon Delossantos, 24, of Cumberland, Rhode Island. In court papers, Delossantos has been identified as the alleged leader of a drug trafficking organization responsible for the distribution of hundreds of kilograms of fentanyl and cocaine in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Vermont, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. The operation was recently broken up and resulted in the arrest of at least 25 people.
